How many times have u been kicking dust for being fooled by both reliance and tata indicom with false promises of high speeds and unmatched connectivity in their data cards. Well time for me to give you people a personal experience. Well i had a reliance data card and people really it is the last thing that you want injected in your computer. I mean either my data card had super sonic speed so that my not so hi fi laptop was not able to capture it or i am living in the coldest place in antartica that i hardly get any network . As it is , it sucks!!... So people all those who are lining up for reliance cards give it a second thought considering where will you be using it and do u really badly want it because if u don''t den i have got an alternative for you people. And about tata indicom .. its as simple as this both reliance and tata indicom don't have their own towers . They just take towers at lease from bsnl , so both suck .. doesn't matter which plan you are in ... SO PPL BEHOLD
INDIA’s largest telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) plans to provide a speed of up to 2 mbps for its broadband subscribers. This was stated by Communication and IT Minister, Dayanidhi Maran. And all those who are using 256 kbps connection currently can migrate to the improved speed at no extra cost. Nor will they have to change their consumer premise equipment.
Maran also announced that the government is declaring the year 2007 as the “Year of Broadband” in India. He also said that it’s now upto the private operators to match the BSNL challenge. Currently no telecom service which is offering more than 1 mbps for home users. So be ready for a grand treat. But how are they going to manage such amazing speeds?
Well the awnser is the new technology called EVDO ( Evoulution data optimization ) which basically uses both cdma and tdma technology to get such great speeds. So be sure of high speeds of more than 256 kbps which is so much better than 4 kbps .. yeah u read it right .. 4 kbps of tata indicom and reliance.
I know what is the question going on in all you people 's minds right now !!.. The TARRIF.. Well as the sources say , it is being stated at Rs 400 a month for unlimited access.. Now isn't that cool!!.. yeah it is !!
The release date is yet to be fixed but it should be out by the end of august.
